International ICT Girls Day Marked Through IUS Second Edition of „Girls in ICT Sarajevo 2023“ 

„Girls in ICT Sarajevo 2023“  is the second  edition of the successful celebration of International ICT Girls Day organized by Sarajevo ACM-W and held at the International University of Sarajevo from April 26th until April 27th, 2023.

This event included several activities such as panel discussions, inspiring speeches, technical workshops in various IT/ICT fields, and a hackathon competition. Additionally, on the second day we also had a presentation by software companies who spoke about the software industry. IUS Assistant Professor Dr. Özge Büyükdağlı held a presentation on EUGAIN Cost Action „Gender Balance in Informatics. “

At the end, an award ceremony for nine winners of Hackathon competition was held and the winners were awarded certificates and rewards.
